Luján de Cuyo is a small town on the outskirts of the city of Mendoza in western Argentina, near the Andes Mountains. It’s known for its wine production, particularly the Malbec grape variety. Several wine routes link the area’s many bodegas (wineries). Nearby, the town of Chacras de Coria is renowned for its upscale restaurants. Just to the south is the Mendoza River, with stretches of whitewater rapids.
