Riva di Tures Italy

Already in the depths of history, Riva di Tures used to be a popular holidays destination, not at least due to its impressive location at 1,600 m asl at the foot of the mighty Collalto. The high alpine village stretches in the Valle di Riva in the heart of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina nature park. Local mountain and at the same time the highest mountain of the Vedrette di Ries is the 3,436 m high Collalto, a mountain that can only be scaled by experienced mountaineers. By the way, 32 of the 84 mountains of three thousand metres are located in the Valle di Riva.
