Königsleiten Austria

The village lies on the Königsleiten, a mountain with a summit of 2315 meters. The village itself is about 1600 meters. The village also has a number of cable cars for the purpose of winter sports. This ski area is known as the Zillertal Arena. In 1965, still lived strictly speaking people in this place, summer only lived there a few people. Then, the number of tourists in 1970, settled there around 70 people. The last few years were built especially in the South East, new housing, so there is now room for approximately 5,000 people.
